My Manuscript Masterclass Act 2 starts soon — July 2. The masterclass hosts a maximum of 6 writers and I currently have 2 places available.

I was motivated to design the Manuscript Masterclass for writers who need both in-depth feedback and then the time to develop their work and return for further feedback. As some of you know, I’ve been designing and providing creative writing workshops and courses for over 30 years. For fifteen of those years I’ve been presenting highly interactive online workshops. This Masterclass has been developed out of those many years of experience working with writers.
Aware that writers with draft manuscripts have few opportunities for substantial feedback and discussion in a workshop environment, I launched my first Manuscript Masterclass last year, and it’s been a great success. Success, as in, the writers have been able to write regularly, have worked on high-quality writing, restructuring, and revisions; have engaged in deep discussions of their and others work-in-progress. At least one writer has now finished revising and honing their manuscript, in readiness to send to agents/publishers.
So if you have a fiction or creative nonfiction manuscript that’s completed, or substantially underway, this could be the workshop you’ve been hoping to find. My masterclass encourages consistent revising and further development, and provides intensive feedback to each writer. We focus on the deep issues relating to the work, along with the development of writing techniques that will enhance each writer’s individual manuscript.
Key aspects of the Manuscript Masterclass:
- 1-1 consultation with myself on the first submission of 20k at the commencement of the Masterclass.
- Fortnightly zoom meetings over 5 months in which you workshop another 20k of your manuscript.
- Online discussion and feedback on work in progress, other resources at the Masterclass website.
- Cost: $2,600 (Direct Deposit; PayPal; Credit Card).
Professional development sessions are also included. For writers who are ready to draft agent/publisher/journal submission letters or book synopsis I provide feedback and advice; and we’ll also be meeting with an industry professional (agent or publisher) through a curated Q&A.
If you’re interested, and believe you could be suitable, please get back to me ASAP. July 2 is around the corner! I would love to see a sample of your work, and happy to answer all questions as to what’s involved, how many hours a week, etc. I’ll respond promptly – use the Contact page please.
