For Sydneysiders, you’re invited to the launch of my new book, Raven Mother, on Tuesday March 24, being held at the bookstore I’ve had the longest relationship with, the award-winning independent bookstore, Gleebooks. Register/RSVP here: 6pm for 6.30 start. I’ll be in conversation with award-winning author and genius editor Kim Kelly.
Gleebooks events now have a podcast from their author events, Gleetalks, so if you’re not able to make the free wine and food while mingling with other fabulous guests, you can always listen in later.
Support your local Australian bookstores by buying locally, and ask your public library to order a copy in. Authors receive a royalty payment for each book sold, but we also receive Education Lending Rights and Public Lending Rights for use of our print and digital works borrowed. (Thank you Australian Society of Authors for ensuring and growing the rights of authors to an income.)
More appearances are coming up which I’m adding to at my Events page here, and via social media. The book tour is in the making. Waiting for some festival programs, bookstores and libraries to go public…
In other news: Applications are open until April 9 for my Manuscript Development Masterclass offered through Varuna the National Writers House. The course starts on June 18, online. Eight participants will be selected. This will be my fourth Manuscript course, and second time with Varuna, who have been brilliant to work with. From the previous Manuscript Masterclasses there’s some manuscripts finished and under submission, some winning prizes, and manuscripts well underway. More news of these to come!

For catering and seating purposes, it’s important that you register/rsvp. Thank you!
